Dear Church Family,

We hope you are well and that you are managing to keep you and your loved ones safe. We are currently living through a very strange time, but we are sure that together we will all get through this as best as we can.

The Vicar, Churchwardens and Treasurer now meet online via Zoom and we are able to discuss various aspects of our church life. The Standing Committee has also now similarly been able to meet, and we hope that we will soon be able to arrange for the PCC to meet on line and then for more opportunities for us to connect as this ever fluctuating situation we find ourselves in evolves.

WORSHIP
All Public Services in Church at this present time have been suspended. We are working with ever evolving information received from our diocese and from the Church of England website and will endeavour to update this page as and when we have new information.

PRAYER AND LITURGY
A new Church of England page has been created containing:

  • Prayers and intercessions for personal or group use
  • Special prayers for use if it isn’t possible to meet in church
  • A simple form of prayer for the morning and evening, which can be downloaded, printed, and shared with those remaining at home or who are unable to access the Internet.

These resources are offered to help those who are struggling to find words at this difficult and stressful time, and to enable Christians to worship in solidarity with one another even if it is not possible to gather in church.
